A reminder to NEVER run out of fuel

I filmed the crew dismantling a 152 that ran out of gas over Burbank airport, they landed short of the field and ended up upside down on top of a car. They were trying to get to El Monte.

I started flying on April 8, 2006 at El Monte Airport in SoCal. I received my instrument rating in September of 2010. I trained in a Piper Archer II and since then have been flying with a buddy named Ron. He owned a Piper Cherokee 140 that I was able to fly approximately 300 hours. He sold the 140 and purchased a Piper Comanche 250 and renovated it. We have put about 50 hours on the Comanche so far and are making plans for some really long cross country flights (like Lake Of The Ozarks).
