Rock 'n' Roll Diner

Flew to Oceano on the California coast the other day in the newly restored Comanche. Ron and I took my daughter Elizabeth and her friend Chantal along with us. We had breakfast at the Rock 'n' Roll diner. It was good and the ambiance was fun.

This is exactly why we wanted a bigger, more robust airplane. We took off with full tanks (90 gallons) and four adults...the Comanche climbed out at 1100 feet per minute like it was no big deal.

The Cherokee 140 that Ron used to own could only carry about a 160-pounder after the two of us got in it.
